1 TO 1 CONSULTS
 

How does the Call work?

1.  Book your Session
Choose your slot from the calendar and send me as many details as you want via the Booking Form (or not). After booking, you will receive an e-mail with your Booking Confirmation, a reminder of the time and day of your Appointment and a Google Meet link for that day / time.
In case you’ll need to change your appointment you will be able to re-schedule directly from the e-mail itself.

2.  Let’s talk!
Just click on the Google Meet you have received in the Booking Confirmation e-mail and call me at the time that you have chosen. We’ll start with anything that seems important to you, and take it from there; we will have the time to ask each other questions, to brainstorm about possibilities, to envision a strategy. If you have specific issues that you want to address, have a list ready and we’ll tackle them in order of importance.

3.  Let’s share! ( screen & workspace)
The best way to talk about your photography is while we are both watching the same things together, at the same time. If you do have material that you want to show to me, you can send me the link in the booking form or during the session and I will share my screen with you so that we can view it together.

4.  What next?
If you think our chat was useful to you and you wish to carry on working together, you are welcome to book other sessions or services for the first available slot or in a later moment. For multiple sessions I do offer discounted packages; just let me know and I’ll send you more details.

Is Google Meet reliable?

Absolutely, not only it is free but it gives also the possibility to share the screen and workspace. Minor problems of course can happen, but usually with a good connection Google Meet is very reliable. To improve quality further, plug your computer in.

Can we use the phone instead?

If you want to talk about things that don’t need sharing the screen, and prefer to call me instead, a phone call can be organized. But again, Google Meet is completely free, and works really well. Just saying.

When will I pay?

1 HR Consults Payment (100 Euros) is at the moment of booking, via Paypal.
Free Intro Calls for other services (Single Edit, Web Edit and New Website) are - as the word says - free, so you won’t pay.

May I cancel or reschedule my booking?

I do accept cancellation at any time prior payment. In all cases ( both for pay sessions and free intro calls) you can always re-schedule within 24 hours before your appointment directly from the Booking confirmation e-mail.

SINGLE EDIT

 


What do you mean with "Edit", exactly?

What I mean with Edit is:  the process of selecting your best images and then sequencing them in the optimal way for your final output.


Are PostProduction & Styling included?

Yes, PostProduction & Styling of your final edit will be included in the service at no extra fee, if you desire so. I will send you 3 samples for your approval before proceeding to process all pictures. If you rather process the final edit yourself of course you are free to do that, you can decide freely after having seen the samples.

When will I pay?

The initial Free Intro Call will be free of charge. If after the call you’ll decide to carry on working together, a payment link will be sent to you after you'll agree on all features, price, payment method, details and delivery date that will be sent to you in a written form as a Work Proposal. The payment request (250 Euros) is upfront, via Wise (you don’t need to have an account with them, you just need a credit card).


Will we have the possibility to talk about my vision for the Edit?

Yes, we will. This service includes a 20 minutes Free Intro Call in which we will discuss together the possible directions to take with the Edit and other details, so that we will be on the exact same page before I start the work. We will share the screen, so that we will be able to watch your material together, at the same time.


How does the Free Intro Call work?

1.  Book Your Free Intro Call
The Free Intro Call is a way to get to know each other and start envisioning the work we might do together. At the end of the call you will be free to decide whether you want to book the service or not; in case you’ll need more time to decide or you wish not to proceed, you'll be as free as a bird, no questions asked!Choose your slot from the calendar and send me as many details as you want via the Booking Form (or not).

2. Send me your material!
Right after booking you can start sending me your material following the Submission Workflow guidelines that you will find in your Booking Confirmation e-mail. Please make sure to send me everything at least 1 business day (24 hrs) before the appointment! If you want to read the Submission Workflow guidelines before booking, you can find them here.

3.  Let’s talk!
Just click on the Google Meet you have received in the Booking Confirmation e-mail and call me at the time that you have chosen. I will share my screen with you so that we can see your pictures together; we will have the time to ask each other questions and to explore a possible structure for your edit and a postproduction style, customised on your final output and market.


4.  What next?
If you think our chat was useful to you and you wish to carry on working together, I will send you a link for the payment via Wise (you don’t need to have an account with them, you just need a credit card). The Edit will be delivered to you with a Turnaround Time of 5 business days from payment reception, via WeTransfer.


What should I submit for a Project Edit?

I normally like to see all you have shot about your project, for a maximum of 1000 images. This applies either your project will be published on your website, printed for an exhibition, submitted to a contest etc...It doesn't matter that images are processed with postproduction, out-of-the-camera files will be absolutely fine.


What should I send for a Portfolio Edit?

Your Portfolio is here intended as a single selection (for eg. 1 web gallery or 1 sequence for your Print Portfolio) which represents the "best of your work". If you need a full Web Edit (different projects and galleries) please see here.For a Portfolio Edit,  I normally like to see a wide selection of images, for a maximum of 1000 images.  It doesn't matter that images are processed with postproduction, out-of-the-camera files will be absolutely fine.


What should I send for a Book Edit? 

If your project is a Book I'll be very happy to help you (I love photo books!).
If you need a simple one-page/one-image sequence this can be absolutely done as a Single Edit (same timeframe, same price of 250 Euros) for a maximum of 50 final images.
For more complex books, I’ll be equally happy to work with you, but this can be a slightly longer process; the length depends on a few factors, such as the number of pages, of pictures, if you need me to work with a text, if you already have a layout and a structure, etc;  if you are interested, just write me an e-mail with your brief and I'll get back to you asap. If you have a designer helping you for the layout I'll gladly work along with them under your direction.


How should I prepare my material?

For format and resolution, what works best are JPGs (no RAWs, no TIFFs or other formats, please) @ 1000px longer side (smaller, I won’t see them properly, bigger, they will jam everything). For sending me the files, just make sure your submission link is downloadable (Dropbbox, Google Drive, One Drive, WeTransfer, Smash, whatever works for you …). If you wish to have your pictures processed with Postproduction (included in the service) at the end of the work I will ask you to send me the high res of the final selection.


How and when will I receive my Edit?

When your edit will be ready I will send it back to you via WeTransfer. Depending on your final layout, the included sequence will be either embedded in the file names (progressive order) or adapted to a mock layout. The Edit will be delivered within your with a Turnaround Time of 5 business days from from payment reception.


May I cancel or reschedule my booking?

WEB EDIT 


What is a Web Edit, exactly?

A Web Edit is the full optimization of the content of your website; it includes a Web Review (what works, what doesn’t work), a Blog review (if you have a blog) a full Photo Editing service for all your Projects and Portfolio (selecting your best images and sequencing them for a maximimun impact) and the full Copyediting of your Profile/About page.

Are PostProduction & Styling included?

PostProduction & Styling of your final edits can be included in the service for an extra fee, if you desire so, but they are not included in the original fee of 500 Euros.
The Postproduction fee will depend on the number of final pictures to process and will be communicated to you at the end of the edits; it’s normally in the range of 250 Euros. In any case, I will show you / send you 3 samples for your approval so that you can decide freely if you want to add this extra or not after having seen the samples.

It also includes a full 1 HR session that we will schedule after I will have seen all your material; this space will give us enough time to go deeper into your desired outcome and for me to give you a full review so that we will be on the exact same page before I start working on your pictures and texts. We will share the screen, so that we will be able to watch your material together, at the same time.

The Free Intro Call is a way to get to know each other and start envisioning the work we might do together. At the end of the call you will be free to decide whether you want to book the service or not; in case you’ll need more time to decide or you wish not to proceed, you'll be as free as a bird, no questions asked!
Choose your slot from the calendar and send me the link to your current Website and any other notes important to you in the Booking Form.

2.  Let’s talk!
Just click on the Google Meet you have received in the Booking Confirmation e-mail and call me at the time that you have chosen; I will share my screen with you and we’ll take a look together at your website and analyze what can be improved and how, focusing on your goals, desired targets and who you’d (really) like to be as a Photographer.

3. What next?
Ready to start?  I’ll send you a link with all the info on What to Send and How to Send it and an Agreement that will include all the features that we have discussed, the price (500 GBP) and the delivery date, to make sure that we are on the same page on everything. You will also receive the link for the Payment (500 Euros) through Wise (you don’t need to have an account with them, you just need a credit card).  

4.  Work and Delivery
Everything looks good? Great! Send me your material and and we’ll meet again for a full 1 HR session to fully review your website and material in detail and fine-tune the work to do. Following your instructions I’ll then move forward with the edits and copyedits and will send you everything nicely wrapped in one shiny virtual box!


How long will it take?

Web Edits will be delivered on a case by case basis but always within the agreed Turnaround Time (the timeframe for a Web Edit is normally in the range of 10 business days ). Please keep in mind that the turnaround time starts from the moment I will have received all your material.


How will I receive my Edit?

Once your Edits will be ready, I will send you everything in one single folder via WeTransfer; the sequences will be embedded in the file names (progressive order) and the texts will be in PDF format.


May I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Yes, you can. I do accept cancellation at any time prior payment. For Free Intro Calls, if you can't make it, please cancel or re-schedule within 24 hours before your appointment.

NEW WEBSITE 

What’s included in the service?

The New Website service is all inclusive, from Design and Architecture, to full Content Editing, to Activation (domain transfers, DNS settings, A Records). Additionally, in the last Coaching Session you'll be guided through the administration panel and will learn how to easily manage your new website yourself.

The aim of this service is to give you the best possible Website for your Photography; which means, this is not a simple web development service. Starting from a Marketing and Style Assessment (your desired targets and market, your specific style), the work will follow a 360° Photography Consultancy approach, giving you not only the most powerful tools and contemporary design to showcase and market your work, but also a full Content Editing of both your images and texts.

The work includes styling and some CSS customization of your chosen template, it doesn’t include HTML development. If you just need a new website from a mere technical point of view, you don’t need this service. There are many web developpers out there who know much more about HTML and coding than me.If you on the other side want a website made from the point of view of your potential clients and optimized for your market, this service is quite unique, offering you Marketing, Design, Editing and Coaching at once, in a ready-to-use product. 

When will I pay?

The initial Free Intro Call will be free of charge. If you’ll decide to carry on working together, a payment link will be sent to you after you'll agree on all features, price, payment method, details and delivery date that will be sent to you in a written form as a Work Proposal.
The payment request (1500 Euros) will be 50% upfront and 50% at delivery, via Wise (you don’t need to have an account with them, you just need a credit card). Alternatevily, you can pay with a Bank Transfer.

We’ll have 30 minutes to talk about your goals, desired targets and what type of website you would like to have and we will start envisioning a good Design an Architecture for you.

3. What next?
If you think our chat was useful to you and you wish to carry on working together, I’ll send you a link with all the info on What to Send and How to Send it and an Agreement that will include all the features that we have discussed, the price ( 1500 Euros), the delivery date and a possible calendar for the live sessions, to make sure that we are on the same page on everything.  You will also receive a 50% advance payment link of 750 Euros through Wise (you don’t need to have an account with them, you just need a credit card). Alternatevily, you can pay with a Bank Transfer. 


How is the work structured?

1. Material & Design Proposals
Ready to start? Great! Send me your material and I’ll move forward with 3 Design & Architecture proposals, using samples of your work, you pick the proposal that you like the most!

2. Development & Reviews
Once you have approved the design, I will proceed working on the Development, Content Editing and Styling of your chosen template. While I’ll work on design and content development, we’ll have 3 live sessions (3 hours) for you to review all the work.

3. Work Delivery
All looks as you wanted? I’ll send you the link to the balance payment (750 Euros) and during our last live session I’ll transfer the domain and put the site online for you; we'll also have the space of 1 extra hour to see together how you can manage the website completely by yourself!

Will I be able to review the work during development?

Yes, of course. We will have 3 sessions for a total of 3 hours dedicated to your reviews. We’ll also have a 4th final hour for you to get familiar with managing the platform (CMS Coaching).

How long will it take?

New Websites will be delivered on a case by case basis but always within the agreed Turnaround Time (the timeframe for a New Website is normally in the range of 3 to 4 weeks). Please keep in mind that the Turnaround time starts from the moment I will have received all your material.

Which platform will be used for my website?

I normally work with Squarespace, which offers the best designs and features for photographers, is easy to use and is already optimized for mobile viewing. I’m not an Affiliate, so I’m not earning anything from Squarespace, I recommend it because after working for years on many other platforms (including WordPress and Cargo Collective) my experience is that it’s much easier to manage, and the Marketing possibilities are unparalleled; from built-in e-commerce, to a ready-to-use Blog, to the infinite list of Apps and third-party services integration, I genuinely think this a great platform for photographers, either you want just showcasing your work or you need to sell Prints, Books or Digital Files.If you want to check the Plans they offer (features and pricing) this is the most updated page. The monthly (or annual) subscription fee to Squarespace is not part of this service so it will be an extra you will have to pay (directly to them); as part of Squarespace Circle though I'm able to offer you a 20% discount on all new annual plans, for the first year.

Can I choose the design for my website?

Yes, of course you can! You can either send me a template that you have already chosen or choose between 3 different proposals that I’ll submit to you. The 3 proposals will be adapted to your style and will showcase samples of your work. 

Will I need a web domain name for my new website?

Yes, you will. Either you are changing your current website and want to keep your current domain name or you are creating a website for the first time, I can transfer/connect for you any domain name to your new website but in all cases I'll need you to provide me with the access to your domain account. Your domain provider must offer full DNS access.I can absolutely advise you on the best providers and also check for you if they have a dedicated e-mail included in their packages (an e-mail such as "info@yourdomainname.com", for example), but please bear in mind that buying the domain name/ dedicated e-mail is not part of this service.

Can I have an Online Shop / E-commerce on my website?

You sure do! With all Squarespace websites the e-commerce function, both for digital downloads or physical products to ship (such as Prints or Books), is already embedded. If you wish, I can create a shop for you for a small extra (usually around 300 Euros) or you can consider the shop an add-on that you can build yourself or with my help in a second moment;  this extra service includes the e-commerce setting out, selecting the best products to sell , a pricing analysis for your market and a Prints selling contract.

Will my website be ready to use?

Yes, your website will be ready to go live the minute we finish our last session.Not ready to go online yet? Not a problem. We can absolutely screen your new website temporarily with a password and you'll be able to activate it in a second moment, whenever you want.
